It's
c0 + c1 / 2 + c2 / 6 + ... + cn / (n+n^2)
I believe. At least for the computers.

And computers are stacked automaticly in order (i guess).
35% + 34%(1+2/2)+33%(2+2/3)...
or something close to that. I'm not sure about the order, is it cost, accu, def or what.

shields are simple 1 shield give full power 2nd sheild give 1/2 power 3rd give 1/3 power do the math then - 3 since you have 3 shields. that is the basics. however if you drop too much from the 1st and 3rd shield the average of the shields will also come into play. IE a 30 and a 10 will give you ~ 20 since the difference in the shield power the average comes into play.

I'm unfortunately not extremely good at maths, so I have been wondering if anyone could throw me an example
Assuming my computers are all 20% acc.
c0 + c1 / 2 + c2 / 6 + ... + cn / (n+n^2)
20 + 20 / 2 + 20 / 6 + ... + cn / (n+n^2)
What does ... stand for? What does cn stand for? What does n stand for?

... is a math term meaning that the formula goes on until it has reahed the number n. N represents the number of the shield in the system, ie: the 1st shield, the 2nd shield.... I assume that cn is the %.

okay, so I'm intending to run 3 or 4 computers at 20% each. How would I work that out?
20 + 20 / 2 + 20 / ? (n+3^2) 40 22
20 + 20 / 2 + 20 / 6 + 20 / ? (n+4^2) 40 22 26
I have no idea how you guys think 'n' is a number....

here it is with 4
20 + 20/(1+1^2) + 20/(2+2^2) + 20/(3+3^2)
20 + 20/(2) + 20/(6) + 20/(12)
20 + 10 + 3 1/3 + 1 2/3
= 35%

Thezerg you might want to look to your formula again as it is incorrect. I could now give you the correct formula but that would ruin the fun, right?
