I strated playing this game about a month ago, and because there are so many differant kinds of ships, i still dont know what the hell im doing... could someone give me some pointers on making a contrtact ship, and maybe a design if you have one.

What I do (and...I'm not the best at this game by any means) is have a fleet, maybe 2 or 3 fleets, depending on my mood, that has enough power to destroy the mission fleets without taking losses. I know other people use fleets that need resupplying after each mission, too.
To get missions worth more credits, look at making fleets with high attack, and no def/hp. What this does, is increases your total fleet power, making missions better for your wallet. I wouldn't recommend sending them into the missions, though, as it can cost a lot to replace those (and in my experiences, I've not ever come out with more credits when I lose ships on missions). When using this, make sure you have enough defense/hp on your main ships to cover harder missions...mission fleets can get a LOT of power sometimes.

it depends on what kinda of mission ship you want are you planning on using a def swarmer or a BB?
