Hello,

I've just started playing, and I have a question or three about PSHIPS, that is PSHIPS with no Hitpoints.  If your ships don't have any hitpoints and they are a defensive tool, why put weapons on them? Don't they get blown up in the first salvo by the attacker without a chance to fire back?  Please me know how this works. Obviously, the design of my PSHIPS will be drastically different if the weapon is useless than if it gets to attack before it's blown up.

Second, when you swarm PSIPS, do they get some hitpoints from the swarm effect?

Third, what is the maximum fleet size?

Hello again,

I read through the post on building ships and it was helpful.  One thing I'm not clear on is the shields.  Is the ABS value of the shield, a percentage of incoming attack absorbed, percentage of total ?hitpoints? that are absorbed before the shields collapse, or something else?  The reason I ask is that from the charts, it look like using 2 * 22ABS shields is MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE than 1 * 44ABS shields... actually well over 3,000,000 to 1.  I guess my question is how are multiple shields calculated?

When trying to design a swarm type ship, what are my parameters?  Do any ships of a certain size/class when they are amassed in enough numbers constitute a swarm ship? 

Also, I tried to make a ship as powerful as the Alpha Battleship, but I couldn't come close and it cost WAY more than a battleship.  Are these special classes of ships that can't be duplicated at a reasonable cost?

Lastly, what does it mean, "There is not restriction to how many modules you can istall on a ship, however for every weapon you install there is a penalty of 1% to global attack of the fleet... "  Does this mean that creating a massive dreadnaught with hundreds of weapons that it will degrade the performance of my entire fleet?
