SO Main

Most of the upper part of the galaxy is barren. No interactive. None.

Same for mission contracts and encounters as well.

For the 35 quadrants that I've visited, mission contracts for entire quadrants number less than 5 per quadrant. Some had nothing.

Wasted over 800 turns but nothing worthwhile turns up. Don't feel like continuing

Someone please refill the interactive, mission contracts and encounters, please !

The encryptions spawn rate for new encryption missions depends on the number of players reaching certain encryption levels.

The encounters / interactive should be there, but also spread out depending on player powers. As the top 300 players advance in power, so should the encounters power increase. You may want to keep your power below 300,000,000 power. Beyond that point you no longer see the 15 mil encounters that make the majority so early in the round.

its quite possilbe that you were just following somebody else around the galaxy that is doing all of them before you got there.

Now the barren situaton worsen. Quadrants at the right side, especially those at the middle, are completely barren.

System after system, from one quadrant to another, all completely void of interactive, encounters and missions.

All is left is the Reaves, and maybe players' ship.

Been to 10 quadrants since I log on, all the same. Will try visiting other quadrants later. Exhausted by the vast emptiness.

Edit:

Visited another 3 quadrants, here is the report.

In quadrant A, no interactive, 1 mission contract and no encounter.

In quadrant B, 3 interactives, 4 mission contracts and no encounter.

In quadrant C, 4 interactives, 2 mission contracts and 2 encounters.

The figures shown above represent the number from an ENTIRE quadrant.

A related matter if I may:

Let's say a quadrant's encounters, mission contracts and interactives all been cleared, how long does it take the system to re-fill that quadrant with fresh encounters, mission contracts and interactives?

My experience for the past 2 logins have been very frustrating. Wandering everywhere looking anything, only to end up wasting thousands of turns locating a total of less than 30 mission contracts and 14 interactives.

There are up to 300 to 600 encounters in the galaxy at any one time. As they get done the total goes down. They respawn at a rate of 12 per minute IIRC randomly throughout the galaxy.

This include Galaxy Encounter/Interactive Missions as well as Quadrant Interactive Encounters that need pinpoints to find them.

As the round goes on the few encounter there are at low power levels. There are currently 90 players that are above 30 mill power and the top 300 are 10 mill + so there are not going to be as many encounters below 10 mill power as there were early in the round.

And if you think 15ish encounters + interactive for 800 turns is bad then wait till you get in the top 60 late in the round your lucky if you find 5 useful encounters with 800 turns.

or get top 3 near the end of the round 13, you will be happy if you find 1 or 2 useful ones with about 2k turns..
