I have always thought it would be too difficult to write a guide because there is so much information, from years of playing, in my head.
However, today I realized that if I just did a step-by-step without explanations then perhaps I could just give new players enough info to keep them around long enough to figure out the rest/explanations via exposure...
So, if you guys are for it, I'll draw one up... watcha think?

I like the idea, and this is exactly the sort of stuff people should be contributing to the community. One of the main reasons that new players don't stay around, is they don't know what the hell to do.
Although it would be nice to see a collaboration guide from a bunch of the top players in the game (That way, you could bring in multiple view points, and go into more detail as well, with the extra help), this is a great start, and if you do follow through with this you should be commended.
I voted yes, everyone else should do the same. You know, click the top option.

I have no problem with a collaborative effort. Once I write the basic outline I have in mind, I will post it in the forums for people to add to it.

A guide would be a really useful tool for the new players, so anything I can do to help i shall.
First piece of help:
It should be "learning curve" in the poll title rather than "learning curb" )

I'll start with main and go from there... I rly only know main and Elite well, so if we branch past that, I'd need others to help...
However, I was going to try to write it today but had some RL stuff come up I had to take care of first. But it will come soon enough. My Word.
