Space Odyssey Info Terminal / Updates / Re: Council Protection, mothership contracts and encounter / missions power

I agree with Frank. Its supposed to be for vacation use, so you should only be able to deactivate it, and nothing else, once its up and running. Activating the vacation nebula should not be possible immediately after getting out of one either, or perhaps it should cost you 10% of your cash (on hand and in base, and perhaps also workers) to activate it, so its not done lightly.
-just my two cents.

Actually it was a mere 250 trillion in power i lost as a result of your attack. Like Foo already mentioned, there will be conseqences. However since you have been such a close ally for so long, I am going to be very reasonable about it, and keep a tally on the damage done to you, and call of any further retaliation when you have lost a total of 250 trillion power yourself.
Sincerely

No offence luffy, but i most often skip your posts entirely when I read a thread... I find I can often get to the point much faster that way. Anyway... in an attempt to get something useful out of this thread... would you happen to have any links for sci fi related comics?

I think Luffy should be required to update his comic in his signature every time he posts. That way i would get something interesting to read... would also be great incentive to stay current on the forum.

I am actually in agreement with Wolfwood on this one.
Other than that, i will add that as of now all my designs are private, until someone comes up with a way to pay me for my hard work. I will require a payment of 2% of the total value of a single ship of whatever design you want. ships where i can actually receive royalties in full under the current system are not included, which means that for now, i will still be available to design ships up to 5 trillion in value.
On a final note, id like to add that the market needs to be greatly overhauled, not just degraded because of a few people. Make the market more exciting, make it possible to buy and sell stuff in greater amounts than 1 million units. As it is now, its pointless to use the market for most everyone in the top 30.

General Talk / General Discussion / Re: Votes Requested

I voted no, because like Gunfighter_frank I agree that sometimes your intell is just plain wrong. The way i see it, its just part of the game. We have all lost ships inexplicably once in a while, and while its likely its lines of code colliding in unanticipated ways, its something that we all risk when we send fleets on missions.
So... Even though I completely agree that wolfwood is essentially right in his case, I still vote no, because its not a new development, people have lost ships for inexplicable, unanticipated ways for as long as I've been playing. My reaction to such losses is to suck it up, and try to find ways to minimize the risks of it happening again. I have lowered the difficulty of missions i will attempt to such a degree that my ships can survive killer fleets, not just ordinary mission fleets. Because of this, my cost of resupply has been very low, and hence ive grown faster than those who take their fleets to the limit every mission. And still, once in a blue moon, i will lose a ship, even though it by itself has 1000 times more power than the encryption mission i was attempting.
I guess its just a risky business, flying warships and getting shot at. You think you have the biggest baddest ship in the world, with impervious force fields to guard you from harm... and somehow someone just happened to have your shield frequency and randomly fired at your magazines.... and in a second of unleashed antimatter fury, your fancy new dreadnought becomes a fancy expanding cloud of glowing plasma.

So who is that member you keep referring to? Seems to me you are not doing him any favours by witholding his identity, you only make it so that Emi has to work harder to discover it. Better to show your willingness to get this mess cleared up by fully disclosing all you know.
At the very least I think the entire top ten should be investigated and share lamma's punishment if evidence of cheating is found. I for one dont want people to think I am where I am, because i cheated.

Perhaps you should supply Emi with a list of those people you know or suspect has used the bug, so we can move on with a clean game.

Thank you Lamma, the cheque is in the mail....
I am not entirely sure I am allowed to nominate anyone, me being a big bad legend, but I think A^Bloody^Idiot would be a good candidate. He is rising like a rocket, and I am trying my best to keep up, but I simply cant figure out a way to do any better than what i am already doing. Sets me back to when I was trying to play catchup with Wizard of War and Lightseeker, and I could slowly catch up with light... but no matter what i tried, Wizard of War was just kept being better and faster. So... for reminding outdoing me completely and leaving me in the dark as to how, I hereby nominate ABI.
