yea um...

Your raid was successful and you captured 0 workers and 612.499.951 stashed credits.
In the chaos created by the raid, 0 workers where killed and 462.950.335.030 stash credits where destroyed.

so i get 600 mil when i should have gotten 460 bil off that raid....? seems like that ratios a little messed up.. thats 0.001% that i got.

What you raid depends on the cost of the ships you use to raid too. The fleets used cost is taken as a variable, adding a random factor and the raided resources are determined. The bases will lose 3% of workers / credits regardless.

For most effective raids, you should use the most expensive / powerful fleets you have.

Try and raid someone with an interplanetary shuttle.

Well you don't get up to your full fleet cost, that would be too much. You get up to a percent of your fleets costs used in the raid.

The raid amount depends on several variables: amount in secret base, fleets cost used to raid, a random value, etc.

You don't raid a fixed percent. This is what makes feeding so hard and that's why we could remove the feeding rule.

The cost of the fleets you bring in to raid the base is used to determine how much you can raid. If you bring a probe with 1 space and no weapons, you just destroy stuff on the base but don't actually raid anything because your ship is too small and can't carry that much. The more expensive ships you use, the more you will get. If you use cheap swarmers to power up, it won't work, you'll destroy a lot but capture little.

What you need to use is big and expensive main ships. You will want to use many of them, possibly even raid players at 80% of your power to get the most benefit. So this basically means, if you want to get full raid benefit, raid players under your power, not over it, or maybe if you have some tiny man ships on hand...

Experiment and see what's the best option. Cheap ships that have lots of power are no good for raids anymore. Feeding can get very expensive too.

God Speed!

This may be a hunch, but I believe a ships yield from a raid is also determined by it's hull size which makes using tinies to raid someone irrelevant

Essentially waht im getting fromt his update is that it fixes the feeding issue, but for those for us who actually use raids in a strategic way for our benefit, by raiding people who leave themselves undefended (but arent feeding us) this update screwes us over.  Because now the people who use raids right also get less credits because of the people who dont.

I'm with The Borg on this one. As per my tests, raiding with tinies warrants you little to no rewards, whereas mission ships give a much more practical result.

then emi you need to say large spaced or large hulled ships yield bigger raids not expensive fleets since that's not the case
