I make 4 alts.... and my buddy makes 4 alts.... I nebs me I neb him......

1 attack per day if neb wouldnt solve poop.

That was in combination with the update that you can't attack through galaxy acturly 16 so alts won't work (eventually) but oke ;)

meh restricting attacks to 1 a day is dumb cause it will take out boarding...

and diminishing nebs...

Can't see how restricting attacks would work,

There needs to be a cost and risk to being in a Neb all the time, basically to make it counter-productive to be nebbed.

Flip side of this is I don't believe that ships involved in an attack should be able to be reserved to avoid the consequences.

that would totally destroy tinies, kamis, boarders and most types of attacking...



making it counter productive may have some effect. but it would have to be a decent thing that u miss out on.

That would be a solution for the top players, but it wouldn't be fair for the lower players and new players who are growing and learning..

I'd say: Remove Full Assault, (maybe only possible to full assault @ incursions or sumthing), that would help alot, but not much more should be added...

How about no nebula at all and no attack except system attacks.

Warping to an enemy location should cost credits instead of turns, as it is provided by the Bounty Hunter Guild Transspatial Cargo Service. Now those guild guys should tax transport according to pocket.

In order to avoid detection, planets should be located inside one quadrant, not around a star, alike hidden aliens. Cloacking reasearch should provide lower detection probability. Space stations should provide resource transport from mining facilities in the whole quadrant to the planet. Since planets are command centers they should be able to command the space station scattered in the quadrant. That means that all space stations and mining facilities should be upgraded from the planet command center.

all your doing there is making pvp harder and less affordable then it already it.. will almost completely take it out of the game..

and pvp against planets is already ruined because of the insane turn cost of it...

i disagree with almost every post here...  i think that instead of having a penalty for being in nbe, there should be a reward for staying out of it.  Because if you are very unlucky, you could have your ships killedll the time and have a penalty applied to you for it even though you did nothing wrong.  So there should be some reward for staying out of neb for long amounts of time(maybe turns or credits) that gets bigger the more power you have (so sumbody cant just reserve all their ships and wait for a bonus).  Also i STRONGLY support the nebs being given on account of credits lost instead of power

Actually I do like Grondavor's idea.
Makes people actually have to think to defend themselves.

As for the reward maybe a change in turns earned per minute.
Say for every hour your out of a neb you  get an increase of 1/24th of a turn a minute up to a max of 2 turns a minute.
In other words stay out of a neb for 24 hours then you get 2 turns a minute instead of 1.
Of course any successful attack would negate this bonus whether it nebs you or not and it would last at 2 a minute for a maximum of say 12 hours.

Definitely need nebs changed to be based on creds instead of power though.

Basic psychology say's people like reward based systems better then punishment systems even if they are equal......


If you get halved turns for being in a neb, or doubled for being out..... its just the same d**n thing, if you get a reward for being out of a nebula its the same as getting a punishment for being in a nebula.... it only depends on what you call normal.

Getting more depending on your power...... so what would this solve... you still keep powerships up instead of mission ships.... and it means the stronger people just get more the weaker.... making it even more unfair.

And nebs based on credits..... if you spend all credits you have on reserved ships (they dont count for anything) you can get even cheaper nebs then you can now. And for the people that like to keep their mission ships out while being out of a neb it wouldn't be possible anymore to defend themselfs with powerships.
