suddenly my 24 hour neb dropped to 20 hour neb also - he claims he hit attack twice and it "just went through"
but he's been up to some hinky crap and i know he knew exactly what he was doing just look at the time stamps on all 5 attacks.

I have determined the problem.

It seems to be coming from some power ships designs. Each have 3,368 weapons on them (multiplied by 255). On capture this puts a high stress on the server, possibly hanging the battle / browser.

This made the battle last about 3 minutes and possible stressed the server a lot. Also the server could not calculate the battle in time to place you in the nebula, allowing the attacker to strike again before the first battle calculation have finished.

Now this would normally not happen because of the 3 seconds delay between attacks to enable the server to calculate the battle.

The only solution is to limit the number of upgrades installed on a ship, just use the multiplier that's why it is there. So don't use those power ships, it stresses the server and you may run in the same problem again.

Once again, please do not use ships with more then 200 unique systems, ships with 1000+ unique systems may be removed from the database as it puts too much strain on the server.

The damage and profits from that attack will be undone, and others are advised to not use powerships that have more then 100+ unique systems installed, instead use the multiplier, or we will be forced to disable the capturing of systems, and you will only get ship hulls from capture.

e,i checked my war page when i saw the red letters then i opened and read the battle report from the first(4th actual) attack and saw i was in a 24 hour neb ALL
BEFORE the second attack hit and took my mains and switched me to a 20 hour neb. i saw it all go down. further LadyAlys has been using and losing 13 fleets of these ships w/o any problem. i know what i saw. further i know night knew exactly what he was doing.
