his ratio is fine after you take into consideration the 135% attack bonus that you get in the end game playing. But the thing spanky didn't take into consideration is that no matter what you will end up losing ships here and there. You can't take out killer fleets. every round I maxed on I lost plenty of ships. It's just the risk you have to take when going for the bigger payout options. Clearly since he's going for a 10q ship while he has 11q total power, and 5 fleets. his lead is probably around the 3q area, and that makes the ship he's going against 4x his lead. which is completely do-able, but I see 0 items being used in his battle log which is a huge mistake on his behalf and he should expect to use ships making a mistake like that.
ALSO
later viewing of the battle logs shows that the enemy fleet you are going up against is prime killing material. It's 5 fleets vs 5 fleets, and your two tail's powers are roughly 1quad power, and 700m power which are up going against ships around 2quad power with swarm bonus. This is just pure bad luck, and happens. Just cut your losses, and keep going. If you had 4 fleets though
. you probably would have only lost 1 tail, and the 5th alien fleet's damage would have gone to your main and you would have been fine.
