i would like someone to help me out on how to aviod killer fleets. i know that they are inevitable but i would like to *reduce* the chance of encountering one of them. i would appreciate if someone point out the link to a thread about this OR type out a guide about this. --this round i've encountered at least ten of them which prevent me from going above 36 billion power which is the highest i ever been to. if i never encountered one of them in this round, i would be in top 20 for sure. or 25

If there was a way, you'd be in the same spot because everyone would be using it. Best bet is to build some nice ships, and stick towards the lower missions, less chance of those super fleets being catastrophically deadly.

but the main problem is that the 9.4 billion fleet power of my each 3 supership and i always didnt do enough missions to cover the cost of my supership before i loses them to a killer fleet which aint fair..i was trying to figure out how to do surpass the point i was at. but i couldnt do anything that help me figure out how to get above 36 billion power. i always loses them to a 1% missions :-S which sucks.....i cant really do anything about it.

you have too much ship power and not enough base power, that affects it some. Also, try lowering your ships attack some and raising their hitpoints. That will also help. You just have to balance your ships correctly for it.

Right, i forgot about base power So if you have powerships, and not much liquid assets you are doomed... Your ships also might have too much attack compared to hitpoints.

i got this from argus and a lot of peopel agree with him, but this is what he said: "2:1 your ships die too easily 1:3 you don't do enough attack to the enemy, 1:2 seems to work fine" i guess 1:1 is also good but i agree with argus, 1:2 seems to work fine

how much ABS should each of my missionships should at least have?
currently, my few million credits worth of missionships has around 40's percent of ABS. i wonder if that's good? or not?
how many shield systems should each missionships have? most of mine has only 2 shield systems.

Well, I try to keep my abs a minimum 0f 50% and i use anywhere from 5 - 9 systems to accomplish this to keep my energy use at a minimum for the size of the ship. Its all up to the person and their preferences.
