Endangered Planet
Commander, we are receiving a distress signal from a planet in a distant nebula!

Mission Power
1.069.967.812.502
You've eliminated the opposition. They didn't have much, but the experience was nice! Thinking of the families of all the people you killed today, a grim smile comes to your face...

Your underworld reputation has increased
You found 24.750 segments
You gained 46.750 experience

The Mission Ended

endangered planets provide workers  4  and what is underworld rep and good rep have to do with anything?

From what I read, you killed them all and just harvested segments and experience.

Emi, it was me complaining that the name indicated i was getting workers and got something else, which means nothing really, my main reason for posting was asking what the rep is. i dont remember reading anything about rep, but i tend to quickly scan through long posts instead of reading them through. anyways, ill try to be more specific when i post and give a try to not to be complaining so much and instead wording it differently to be a subliminal complaint so its not so obvious. btw, the new missions disappearing when you fail sucks major  16

The Interactive mission doesn't disappear when you complete it, it just morphs and relocates  laugh

Emi, it was me complaining that the name indicated i was getting workers and got something else, which means nothing really, my main reason for posting was asking what the rep is.

When you fail a regular mission, you get some small negative rep, when you succeed you get a small positive rep. Reputation affects your bounty level. Also positive / negative rep can decrease / increase bounty on your head. Reputation is basically how your actions define your commander, how much people respect or fear you.

Interactive missions give positive reputation when doing good things, like saving the princess. Doing bad things, like leaving the princess to die, will get you negative rep, but can still yield a reward. You have to read the Interactive Mission as you progress, and try to make it so it will give the proper reward. The mission you tried will usually give workers, but it all depends on your choices. In this particular case, you actually killed the workers you where supposed to save, probably not intentional but still...
