What you do is get a good warmer design, and get about 3-4 fleets.  For each attack on the reavers only get about 5-10k swarmers in each fleet, and attack.  All of the swarmers will die, but you will be able to do a lot of damage to the reavers.  Then buy 5-10k more i neach fleet and continue doing that until the reavers are dead

Can you not read?

To bad i even tried it with 10 fleets but in the end i just lost everything and had no money left at all.

Know those guides already and i miss the explanation how you are supposed to clear a system without any help

You clearly weren't reading the correct guides, or possibly any guides at all.  Because when first starting the game theres no way in hell you should be losing ships if you are buying the right ones

Well it's not realy easy finding the correct guides in eh forum that it half dead so it's hard to see what already might be outdated or not.

I don't mean to be rude, but honestly, the game's really simple if you pay attention and listen to what people have to say. Search the forums. Experiment.

Seeing as you're not willing to do any of that without quitting, we're probably quite better off without someone of that sorts in the community...
We already have hk.

I read many different guides and whatever i tried i only end up loosing my fleets.

I give up till now i only have the feeling that i waste the credits i earn and i'm not realy going anywhere. Seems the game is to difficult for me.

to kill reavers? you'll need one much larger than 1 bill in cost...

How am i supposed to pay for that xD
8  General Talk / Design & Strategy Room / Re: Swarmer advice needed on: January 10, 2013, 02:23:00 PM
swarmers that cost a bill? whoa. thats basically a "tiny" lol
grond, you use swarmers to kill reavs? nub. 16

No not swarmers but a single ship that costs a bill since it seems with swarmers i'm unlucky.

Question would be how many fleets i would need to kill reavers. Had 5 of my swarmer fleets and in the first fighst they where able to damage the reaver fleet but sudenly half of my fleet got crushed. Think i might need to try a ship that costs at least a billion but i fear i would lose that too.

A rough gestimate is you're looking at 15k for max swarm bonus. Give or take.

Thank you i will try that amount out would have tried less myself.

Edit: Atk 70,594 and HP 14,364 so that makes Atk 3.394268679680739x and HP 36x which seems pretty good to me. Now i should make my first bigger ship.

Swarm Mod Info
Ok I am going to try and start updating this again with anything I can think of to help new spaceo Players now I am going to Document how the Swarm Mod works.

The way the Swarm mod works is if you have lots of ship in one fleet you get a bonus to HP/ATT/Defense dependent on the ships size(Smaller gets a bigger bonus) and the Number of ships in a fleet.

The bonus caps out after a Specific number of ships dependent on the ships size. A smaller ship size needs more ships to max the Bonus .

Larger ships just cap out at lower ships numbers

For now here is the Data on the Bonus for ships size 62 and up since its the same mod after that.

Maxes Bonus at 8,000 Ships
Max Attack Bonus: 2.42857x Normal
Max Defense Bonus: 2.42857x Normal
Max HP Bonus: 11x Normal

Size 12 Ships
Maxes Bonus at 24,000 Ships
Max Attack Bonus: 5.285714285714285568x Normal
Max Defense Bonus: 5.285714285714285568x Normal
Max HP Bonus: 31x Normal

Complete swarm bonus info. Worthwhile to look around the forum.

And for what it's worth, you do lose accuracy as well as effective attack for having more weapons on a ship.

Well i found that at least but with the number it's hard to tell how much my 33er ship needs if i just compare those numbers there.

Anyone know how many ships i might need to get a good swarm bonus? Tried to search the forum for a formula but could not find it.

I tried to design my own "small" swarmer and want to know what others think about it since i'm not sure if i did a good job.

Size of the Ship: 33
Power Core Size: 9
Power Core En: 858
Power Core Cost: 3
Armor Size: 8
Armor HP: 399
Armor Cost: 85
Weapon Size: 8
Weapon En: 718
Weapon Acc: 15%
Weapon Atk: 20798
Weapon Cost: 8

Used the Armour twice in the Ship for 798 HP and the total cost is 5626.
What do you think about it?
