I have found a system where I would like to put a station and mine. I have the required tech level to do so, but when I go to the screen to actually do so, it says that there is already buildings there. But there isn't anything there and there is no anomoly or anything.

Doesn't that usually make an anomoly?

Also, I just mined some of the minerals. If I remember right, you can't do that with a station already in place.

Its only an anomoly if there is a ship parked there and there is cloaking in the station...

ya only an anomoly if you have system fleets with the station and ya you can mine there unless system fleets are up
