Title: Planets Post by: captainjf on October 18, 2008, 03:50:44 PM so what happens when pollution gets high on planets. is there a way to reduce pollution?
Title: Re: Planets Post by: SirEmi on October 19, 2008, 11:05:15 AM It only decreases efficiency, the higher the pollution on the planet, the more production is wasted.
What took 1 production point may take 2 production points when pollution is at 100%. At 200%, it takes 3 production points to produce 1 unit of ore. Title: Re: Planets Post by: captainjf on October 19, 2008, 01:16:33 PM thank you, so the pollution just keeps going up and never can come back down?

Title: Re: Planets Post by: captainjf on October 23, 2008, 11:08:57 PM why is it when i scan a planet 3 times, i find out nothing about it? Is it because the planets owner has a high cloaking level?

Is it because the planets owner has a high cloaking level? No it just takes a lot of scans or a very high scan level IIRCTitle: Re: Planets Post by: ars68 on November 11, 2008, 01:21:50 PM funny how it's easier to find a secret base then to see what's on a planet... huh?
Title: Re: Planets Post by: captainjf on November 11, 2008, 09:06:26 PM thats an interesting point, same with space stations...
Title: Re: Planets Post by: Mobius13 on November 12, 2008, 03:46:34 PM planets that hold trillions of people would have to be the diameter of saturn :P
the magnetic forces of such a large object would cause scanner to short out at short distances, otherwise ships could just bomb the planetary defences from space instead of sending marines in |
