Can you please confirm how a Neb is calculated these days? Whether its a 20% damage in 1 attack or 20% commulative damage within a short span of time? The reason to ask this is, i attacked a couple of guys and only caused 7%, 8% and 9% damage, on the 3rd attack they strange way went to Neb? From historically the Neb always counted as 20% damage in 1 attack, is anything changed? Title: Re: SO Main : How Neb is Calculated these days Post by: Comatose on April 11, 2011, 01:31:22 PM As far as I can remember, a nebula has always been calculated based on 20% damage received over a 24 hour span that starts from the first attack...or rather, this:
You can gain a nebula if one attack does 20% of your fleet power in damage. Or if this happens: 1st hour: 10% damage is done to you. This starts a 24 hour timer of sorts, and leaves you needing 10% damage more. 13th hour: The timer's still going, and another 7% damage is done to you. You now only need 3% more. 23rd hour: Your time may be almost up before the damage in the 1st hour no longer counts, and it begins a timer from the 13th hour. You have until the 24th to gain 3% more damage dealt to you and you receive a nebula. I'm not sure how comprehensive that is, as I'm not entirely awake, but I hope it helps.
