With my luck the same thing as happened with Imihir (#10566) will happen again. My counters didn't do a thing to either of us. I've since truced with the alliance. And I didn't doubt that you used them, I was just surprised about the range that you can jump. The only method I knowingly use is the reserve. I'm recieving advice off and on from another player, so I don't know if I'm actively using the powerships method (I probably am) and money doesn't affect power too much, as long as it is just credits and not what you spend it on, but it does have an effect you're right.
It's also likely that even if I did see you the counter wouldn't happen, it depends on your current status when I do see you. I tend to ignore most attacks against me unless the counter has a chance at doing some significant damage. On the other hand at least it's me you're hitting and not the rest of my alliance. to jump in rank you just easily must knew your current rank without ships or with them in reserve. Your score depends on segments(about 2mil for each 1000 i think). On your sercret base workers amount(don'y jnow how affect) and money in stash and on hand; maybe yuor comander level is affect too but I don't think that much. So your power without ships is minimum. And returning your ships from reserve give you power buy cheap power ships and you grow more. All depends on yuor money you can easily join top 100 with 300mil creds only by powerships. Then when you do your job your reserve fleet and go down so even counter can't get you. there better way is to reserve everything except powerships then after first attack you drop in power so much that next counter can't get you and you will be safetly down rank in nebula =) Title: Re: Warner (#6787) Post by: Seither on May 25, 2006, 01:47:29 PM 1B credits=1M power. about 3B-10B credits on hand everyday a powership with nothing but attack, since pships were meant to be destroyed the knowldge to use the reserve system correctly If you have that, you're gold and won't be able to be touched, but you won't be able to make the top ten either.
