Hi, my 1st post and would appreciate opinions on my 1st ship designs...

Have just over 500,000,000 to spend so I designed these 3 ships, only been playing a few days so I'm new to all this!!

As you can see I'm aiming realistically for starter ships.

i dont see anything wrong with them... accuracy and absorb are pretty standard at that price range.


could you post the prices of the systems (weapons, specials, shields, computers, etc)

These look ok, but like everyone else said we need to see system costs.

Ship 1

2 Shields costing 3c + 2 Shields costing 2c each

1 Computer  3c

1 Powercore costing 3c

1 Special Costing 10c   ( realise can get that down to 2/3cr now!!)

1 Weapon costing 3c

Basically the same for the other 2 ships, except on ships 2&3 I used 5 shields instead of 4

Just really wanted to find out if the ratio's and percentages are ok as these are my 1st set, started to use them just doing lvl 2 encryptions and so far been easy going, havent a clue what they'd be like in pvp combat yet, I'm not a player thats gonna be looking to start wars with people just look after myself!

Since made these 3 have started some new designs and been playing around with shield configurations, seems once you start ship designing , it gets addictive!!!

Next gotta learn tactics, but that no doubt will take a while.

yep.. looks good.. nice work.. only thing i would suggest is talk with some of the better designers to get the appropriate number of sheilds and stacks to use to get the most out of your ships...

I'm using 8 weight on everything except computers which I'm using 9 on  (and of course the powercore!)

I've actually worked out better shield configerations than used for these ship, which I have put on my newer versions, basically gets me an extra 1% using less energy!
