Sorry for posting in here but i can't post in updates so if anyone can help that would be great....

Chat now has a moderator system implimented into the system there are rules that everybody has to follow but they will not be taken to the extreme, please try and stick within the ToS, Respect other players and refrain from bad language...

Abuse of other players will not be tollerated in chat and will result in the player being muted, this means that ONLY the chat mods will see what your typing, Were not taking away your fun and right to chat but obviously sometimes chat can be a little extreme, this is a family site and we want to promote it in a way that brings more players to Space Odyssey

I have been removed, and to tell you the truth, I really dont mind.  I do admit, that my actions were over the top, and that it never shouldve happened the way it did.  I was just frustrated, and angry, and until I am not, I really have no place in being a Chat Moderator.  I do apologize for my actions, and hope that you can forgive me for what I did, I know I lost most of the respect I had over the ordeal, and wish to gain it back from everyone, no matter how long it takes for that to occur.  I do wish to continue serving this community as a forum moderator.

sir emi, ias a do believe i have on occation went overboard with my chat, it is also obvious that siether has abused the power you have given him. he came on today and just started muting folks for sayin words like bull crap. Well given the fact that he was given the status as chat mod january 19, and all the sudden today decided to be some kind of enforcer tells me he was only lookin for somethin to do cause he was bored. i dont mind bein warned when i'm bein out of line, and dont even mind being muted when i do go overboard, but this guy is abusing the power. i would like to suggest that the mods for the forum and chat be voted for. at least if we voted for them we realize we have to deal with them untill their term is up. this term should be in 1-3month periods

scott, I have enforced ToS at all times, I've muted a total of 14 people, only 2 of which were permanents, gordioda and you.

And if you're allwed o make a mistake, then so am I. id I mute everyone instantly for offenses? no, I warned them for their offenses first, i even told you to watch your language. hile I may have been out of line, I did not abuse my powers the way you are saying i did. There's a difference between abuse and overboard. What snipe did, muting everyone who annoyed him, THAT was abuse. I merely took the ToS too far and Emi has ruled on that,and I have made it clear to him I refuse to mod the chat until I have clear rules on what IS i fact acceptable and is not to prevent further incidents like this from happening. If I was abusing my power, do you think i'd be trying to ensure I can do my job properly?

As a chat mod I need to ask that if your going to cuss once in a while that seems ok??? keep repeating and thats when i will enforce a mute, everyone slips up once in a while or gets really hacked off when a mission or something destroys everything, problem is were only human thats bound to happen...


Please please try not to use it to abuse other players thats when it becomes a problem in my eyes, when you get "grown ups" cussing each other out with vulgar language and whether there are children on at the time or not invariably there will be a child somewhere so that i will delete posts for, and if it continues then mute, if your going to use foul language constantly then use the in game mail option where people who get offended easilly dont have to read it, ( personally i dont get offended easilly ) unfortunately people around the world do sometimes have a problem with bad language so lets try to keep the remarks to a minimum...

And I have no knowledge of any other chat-moderator

emi, i believe we need to have some more chat moderators, whenever i am on, there never seems to be a chat mod on and there is almost always someone spamming or saying things that shouldn't be said.
