If I boost my acu by 1%, does it increse one total point or a percentage of the current acu?

example:
my ship has 50% acu
does it become 51% or 50.5%?

If you're on about commander abilities, then it'll be 1% of the percentage.
eg. 1% of 50%ACU would be 50.5%, which is rounded up to 51%.

Same reasoning applies to the other abilities.  Getting 1% extra interest doesn't increase the interests # by 1, but multiplies it by 1.01.  Otherwise, you'd see a lot of people pile as many points as possible into the interest skill.
