  ... on with my defence  I made a good reply to this then you moved the topic and I can't remember what I put.  aaanyway.. To my knowledge, it's fine to gather the intel via surface probing a planet on more than one account as long as you do not make an attack with another account within 24 hours. There are only a handful of people who want your planet dead Borg  and from what I've heard none of them have made an attack on your planet.  also it wouldn't be as fun for you this round if you attempt to get me banned  |

Emi has addressed this issue in the past.
The synopsis was basically that as long as the same IP does not use multiple logins to make multiple hits within a 24 hour period, than you're not breaking any rules.
The exception: Counters.

Since a surface probe does not show up in the logs then it doesn't count as a hit. If I had clicked attack to gather intel then that would have been making hits but since a surface probe is that, a probe(not a hit ), then no rules were broken. Correct? |

Wrong. A probe is still considered an attack, and was the reason MJ was given his planet back several rounds ago after it was taken.
Basically, the whole point is that you cannot use one account to benefit another. By probing with one, you are saving a lot of turns on your main - thus giving your main account an advantage. Against the ToS.

Even probing with two accounts is illegal. Doesnt matter if there is a loss on the opposing parties side or not, it is still against the rules. Dont do it, as if someone reports you, you will be caught.
