Title: Powership question.
Post by: CTPEJIOK on June 02, 2006, 12:13:10 PM
I build powerships that give me 1 power for 2 credits. So if I spent 1bil I will get 500mil power. Is it good or bad?

That's pretty good, though you can get better.

you can get better?!? never knew that

Yes, I have one that gives me almost 2 power for 1 credit. It's just a VERY time consuming task now, as when I made mine, you could do multiple windows.

I have one thing to improve system design without multiple windows. It's not lighting speed but it's much faster then simple desighing. =)

what ars and I did isn't simple, in fact, it took nearly a wekk to iron out all the details and fine tune it to get this thing optimized like it is. Now, it would easily take you over 5 hrs to make this design, probably close to 8-9, if not 12. Not sure, haven't bothered to try and make it again, just clone it when needed.

You wrong understand me luffy. I talked about designing multiple systems. Just find a way to design about 150-200 same systems faster then it could be done when you designing as Emi made.

Does it involve hitting the back button twice?  :))

 :12: who knows=) But ofcourse is not just hitting back twice and then confirming device. Something was changed in code and just making this won't help.

you can no longer do the back button twice nor the multi window technique. If you could, designing good powerships would be easy and consume very little time.

So I see Monkey.  Only tried confirming my suspicion on designing a ship (where making multiples of the same ship is worthless anyway).  It worked there.

yes, but it doesn't here, lol. Nice sig btw.

And CTPEJIOK, I meant designing more then 150 systems, tweaked and perfected to get as much power as possible out of them. It took us a week to do the tweaking (mainly ars there) but only 10 minutes to assemble it. Now it would take you 5 hrs JUST to assemble it.

Thats for you Luffy. I got a way to assemble them in 1 hour nor 5.

Then you'r using a glitch and had better report it, because I asked Sir Emi, he said he made it so that was the only way to do it.

hmmmm Ok I report about it. Tought it made powership building a very long thing. Is it better to report via PM or game messages?

just explain how you are doing it here, to make sure. If it is a glitch, report it in the bugs and problems section on the forum. Most likely it is, but it is possible sir emi changed something, so eplain it here and I'll tell you if it is or isn't for certain.

Posted it. But what's weird is that it isn't always working :P j
A glitch that doesn't work all the time lol!

Here are instruction.
1. chose armor in design.
2. press design system
3. input name,weight and hp.
4. press view design.
5. press confirm desing.
6. then click back in browser 2 times.(you must be at the screen where you input name,weight and design).
7. change name of it(just add a number=)
8. press view design. (you will be moved to main screen)
9. press back in browser 2 times.(you will be backed to screen when you chose what to design.)
10. press design buttom and you'll get a armor design screen with all fields filled. then design is as normal
11. back to step 6.

This way I'm no need of reentering system weight, hp.

yea, there is a glitch that is resetting your values by doing that, so you're fine, it's been reported.

There is better way for that, and nothing can stop it :P
There is nice auto form fill function in mozilla :12:
1. Design system
2. Edit->Save form info
3. Confirm design
Repeat as long you want{
    4. Design new
    5. Alt + e, n (language dependent, odit->fill form)
    6. Confirm
}
That "feature" should be removed...
People will do multi weapons ships, and it cannot be stopped, and worse - it will might take lots useless pageloads :P
Now when there is penalty for using many weapons, so its usefull only in pships.
Why cant game cache weapons stats? Calculate once when changing something, than use like one weapon, im right? :21:
Or maybe add count field for system, i dont know how its designed...
