SO Elite, DDAY Warning starts Friday, June 17 at 12:00, and DDAY starts Saturday at 12:00

New round starts on Sunday 12:00 just after DDAY.


Notes of changes for new round:

- starting credits: 25 million credits.

- doubled number of alien Incursion spawns

- 1 point of defence protects against 12 points of damage

- mission contract will cost 10 turns for each attack

- swarmer fleets got a bit higher power now with the below formula

- ship power forumula:

accuracyPercent = (1+accuracy*9)/4; // max accuracy percent is 1

fleetPower = (fleetCost/2 + attack*accuracyPercent + defence*3 + hitpoints)/100 + absorb*500;

Interesting to hear you are tweaking swarmers, but are you just talking about ship spawns, or are you also changing how swarmer work for players?

Ken, in another thread you can read, all he's changing is the swarm bonus mods. And that won't work..

Ken, in another thread you can read, all he's changing is the swarm bonus mods. And that won't work..

The swarm bonus will not change, the power formula will be adjusted a bit to keep the swarmers at the correct power level.

Hmm, odd, I read somewhere that you lowered max swarm bonus.
