I dont't know if is a bug or it is intended so, but when my space station got attacked i saw no counter sign on the attacker. The same with system fleets. I would suggest that counter should be in place on any kind of attack.
Second sugestion maby question, if i have my main fleet and mothership in the same do I (& could I) get the starbase bonus and support in case my mothership and main fleet is attacked? That could really make starbases a very important strategic issue, because that fleet support bonus could mean a lot.

If my fleet is stationed in a "owned" sector of my alliance, do i get support from the system fleets and starbases?
That could also be a great help in times of war, because less powerfull alliance commanders could be protected by more powerfull allies, and that would make sense, and also could mean that an alliance could build a joined defence position in a system using most their ressources, against way more powerfull attackers. However standing in defensive position would be just a short therm advantage since you need to travel the galaxy in order to do missions and encounters.

That could also mean a sort of alliance specialisation, since some players could be supported to build and upgrade starbases by other which do missions.
