1  General Talk / SO Help / Re: Mining on: May 31, 2010, 10:18:24 AM
I have a station and a mining facility now, I also unlocked around 4 or 5 of the station offence/defence research, is there anything I should be doing? such as buying those missiles or fighters, and does the space station only protect the structures in that system? or also the commander(in either remote or full assault)

I thought it was 250 turns per resource, must have read it wrong, now I'll have a space station in no time.

Thanks Arkan , KenquinnTheInsaneOne.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, I've developed the space station technology, and I can kill the reavers, but it takes too many turns to manual mine the resources needed to construct it, is there a way I could buy them with credits? or perhaps some other method which doesn't involve using 10-50k turns.

Is the space station required to build the mining facility?

I've read some mining guides that were on here, specifically Sir Emi's, saying for me to manually mine resources after killing the reavers in the system, the problem is that it takes a lot of turns, 10's of thousands, is there any other way for me to gather these resources?

Perhaps I'm not ready to build my space station/mining facility, I have around 17 bill credits(including workers, stash, fleet, marines etc) and earning 50% of that each day through the market, is that close to what a person should have when they attempt this? or should I wait?
