ok... not sure how much of a bug this really is, but I suppose it is better to ask if it is.

I don't know how E sets up the segment missions, but I have noticed one thing, and this is what is I am talking about to:

say you have 100 mil fleet power, and you see a 10% mission for 40 mil.
now you raise your fleet power to 1 bil, and go back and see a 1% mission for 40 mil.

those  missions, then, are supposed to be the same reward, right?  well, as I said, not sure how it works, but segments go differently, going from my previous example it would like this:

even though the 2 missions may have the same reward, if they were segment missions:
the 10% mission worth 40 mil would be like 350 segments.
the 1% mission worth 40 mil would be like 40 segments.

anyway, it just occurred to me it isn't that noticable unless you are looking for it, so that is probably why no one saw it yet, so I figured I'd make sure it was supposed to be that way 1

hmmm... planet hollywood?  na, already taken...

I've noticed it, too.  I just figured that if you wanted lots of segments from missions, you were supposed to do harder (read: higher %) missions.

the difficulty increment is not a constant, from 1% to 2% it's actually something like 1.7% 3% is actually 2.4%, etc. 255% is not 255% of of 1% missions, because they would be nearly inpossible to make...

I know emi, I mean the segment reward compared to a credit reward, for example:
mission difficulty -- credit reward -- segment reward

       1%           --       100m       --        100
       2%           --       130m       --        180
       3%           --       170m       --        310
       4%           --       240m       --        640
       5%           --       360m       --        950
       6%           --       490m       --        1420
       7%           --       610m       --        1500
       8%           --       820m       --        1500

now, I know these won't be exact numbers, but it will go something like that.  if you want, next time I bring my ships out I could copy down the exact reward for each %, with same fleet power.
