Meh, well i was bored so i decided to screw around with PS some, so i fond a few tutorials, coupled with my own knowledge and whiped up there pics:
Gas Giant w/ rings

Eclipse

Sun

Alien Planet

I like the signiture, it's very eye-catching. Is that second one an eclispe? And the first one is very good, and it looks pretty detailed.

Rings around planet do not match those on surface 1
Last one is nice. I dont like sig, too much flickering. pokey

thanks, used photoshop, adn for the sig image ready, and yeah 2nd one is eclipse, first is a planet 3rd is a Sun..

adn hte rings dont have to match up 16 rings come from space debris so they could be any color really 16 and yeah the sig i gotta change the time a bit, i might make it say my alliance too, and make the display time for the words a bit longer...

Erm, i mean angle, not color 16
Or maybe not angle, but curvature of those on surface.
Check saturn http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturn it should give you idea what i mean

added a new alien type planet... and since i now have 2 topics since i madeanother for the terran one im gonna use this for quick step-by-step things, adn the other topic for stuff that actually requires individual work.
