Only solution to this is reset the server right away.
What's the point of continuing this round if there is no reward and HoG for the ones on the top. Besides there are players who really SHOULDN'T BE at top place.

ok it dont really matter guys.
lets just finish the round and then we can all be even next round.
does it really matter if people get there money or if its in the halls. what those people did was not against the rules at the time they were doing it.
good on them for finding out a strategy that shat all over mine.
lets just end this fight about nothing and continue to play the game the way we were before.

I agree that there was a problem with making creds too fast but cheeting it wasent anybody and i repeate anybody could have done the same thing therfore how is it cheeting not like i hacked the game...That being said i agree lets end this round the problem has been adressed and I was the one who turned it in... So if you got somthing bad to say about it go ahed and mail me tell me all about it I dont mind.. But if you were the one who found a way to outrun the board you would have done it also.... difference being i blew the whistle on it would you have?
LEts just play the game guys... this whole disscution is getting old.

the way i see it, gold days should be awarded, as nobody really cheated, but I dont think HoG should be recorded as it would be an inaccurate recording of people's skill.

WoW, grondavor and Emy, it doesn't care wheter you knew you were cheating or abusing a fault in the game. Jeff used his F5 button to do the same encounter 100x so he didn't have to scout for more and waste turn on that. That earned him a reset. Although he could just have claimed he did something everyone could have done. And Lammalord found this exact bug when the Costcalculator was first introduced (the fix that mission reward goes down with the costcalc, was introduced because of lammalord finding this bug). So now you misused the exact same thing as lammalord did. And in both cases everyone could have done it. That doesn't change a thing. As I already mentioned in the other chat. Finding a mistake in the game and using it to your advantage is always cheating/bug abuse. Honestly I don't think anyone that exploited this deserves a reward.
Lammalord found this bug when the cost calculator was introduced. His account got reset and he earned himself a ban. While some other people got an account reset for a few days.
And now people are whining about how they deserve a top 10 HoG and a reward.... lol
And yeah I have a clue about what Emi is thinking about this. |

Under those assuptions ftp anyone who wins the game is cheeting because they found a way to use the game to make more credits faster than anyone else...

Not everyone who wins the game finds a bug/loophole and exploits it before reporting.
How is this any different from missusing any other coding error, the auto refresh bugs etc?
