This is part one in a series I'll be doing about mastering the subtler nuances of spaceo. So far its just a link, but it's the kind of exercise that proved it's worth for many top scoring players last round: http://slincs.coe.utk.edu/gtelab/learning_activities/27carc.html
....I suppose I can make it a double feature. I run linux, and switched from firefox to epiphany for SpaceO - pages load in one fourth the time. Also try epiphany, opera (proprietary), and seamonkey browsers.

1. This is posted in the wrong section. 2. ...what?

If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds' worth of distance run, yours is the Earth and everything that's in it. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men.

well there seems to be so much confusion about it... this was a joke about alliances feeding eachother. Not funny, I know... Then I throw in some real game related stuff so's not to waste your time.

qe2eqe, please try to clarify the meaning of your posts... Many users are repeatedly confused by them. Is this a joke of some form? I'm honestly lost.
I'll admit some of it is useful, like the browser tips, but this is moved to whatever until it is proven to be something other than confusing spam.
EDIT: Ah, you posted while I was typing. But where's the game-related stuff? Is it the Browser tips? Stayin' in Whatever.
Edit'd once again to fix typing errors.

explaining the joke a bit more: The link was to an excercise in writing a formal thankyou letter. I said the top players really benefited from the exercice, implying that they had lots to say thanks for, and good reasons to strengthen the bond to their giver . E.g.,
Dear CHIKEN ON A CHAIN,
Thanks for the planet.
Your subservient prego dog, foo
**then again, as far as I know, the uber alliance share with Chicken specifically is hearsay.

A metasyntactic variable (pronounced /ˌmɛtəsɪnˈtæktɪk ˈvɛriəbl/) is a placeholder name or an alias term commonly used to denote the subject matter under discussion or an arbitrary member of a class of things under discussion. The term originates from computer programming and other technical contexts, and is commonly used in examples by hackers and programmers. The use of a metasyntactic variable is helpful in freeing a programmer from creating a logically named variable, although the invented term may also become sufficiently popular and enter the language as a neologism. The word foo is the canonical example.[1]

For the most part, yes. I don't remember exactly how I came into this world first hand, so I'll never REALLY know if I'm human-like alien offspring, will I? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/epistemology
