Command Points

I am wondering what people would think about changing command points to only for use in "Your Commander" and making a new thing called Research Points or Scientists or something like that. You could earn them like turns say 1 every 10 minutes. I know this would be kinda hard to implement on Wars (which is the main I play) but it could be interesting to use for the others when they reset. And maybe be implemented into Wars if people liked them on the other 2. And while we are on this what do you guys say to making it possible to remove the research like you can commander abilities?

You know I think it is as realistic as being able to take out commander bonuses. The way I see it is those would come from your commander's experience and he is not likely to just forget them either.
