hmm.... well from readign this thread it does look like LoI is kinda arrogant... but then agian look at lammalord, 3/4 of server hated him yet he was still in top 10 for quite a while... still my philosophy when i was the top player was to be peaceful and cool with as many people as possible, as a more long term goal, and even if it meant i wasnt aggresive i still met quite a few cool people that round and played without making many enemies ;) at the begining of the round when evry1 is equal its amazing how many people will suicide against u just to try to keep u down if htey dont liek you, and with enoguh people it can really ruin ur round
It does seem like long term goals on trying to not make enemies does work quite well though... Lightseeker as a prime example, you dont see many , if any people who dont have a lot of respect for him ;) And if serenity still stnads for the same non-aggression principles from when it was founded looks like chicpea is doign pretty well for herself with a more longterm strategy too ;)... nyways enoguh with the long rant (i was bored
) id jsut liek to say congrats to some of my old friends... i heard oyu had a hell of a run earlier on daveyboy, and midnight ur doin good with 3rd place and i recognize some fother amiliar faces in the rest of the top ranks also:) looks liek gmae is back o ntrack with good upgrades too... i still dont really have time to play but in the future who knows
nyways i got some other stuff to do, maybe ill be back in SO soon, and if not i still hang aroudn in the frums evry once in a while ;)
