- Whenever an item is not sold, it's market value will drop by 0.2% for each item not sold
- If an item is bought, the market value will rise by 0.2% for each item bought
What does this mean? Well, it means a certain number of items will be sold until they no longer profitable to be sold and they will start to be bought
This could lead to some interesting buy low sell higher strategies of merchantes, and items stabilizing at their real value for commanders, or at least will give newbie commanders some really cheap items they can use, e.g. mining time and warp travel...
